Bio
Kenneth Shaffer, MD, is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in the U.S. Military at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Hospital and the Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Dr. Shaffer spent seven years after his fellowship in San Antonio as the staff pediatric cardiologist at Wilford Hall and subsequently as an assistant professor in pediatrics with the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and practices in Austin at Children's Cardiology Associates.
