Bio
Dr. Matthew Rogers earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, where he was honored as a Dean's Scholar. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency programs at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is a former Associate Director of the Emergency Department at the Houston Veterans Affairs Medical Center. While completing his Cardiology fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Dr. Rogers was honored as an Outstanding Fellow and served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and as Advanced Cardiac Life Support course instructor. Dr. Rogers has served on the Coronary and Peripheral Interventional Teaching Staff, and as a staff Cardiologist and staff Interventional Cardiologist at the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Rogers is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a member of the Cardiac Society at the Texas Heart Institute, the American College of Physicians, the Travis County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
