Originally from Del Rio, Dr. Oscar Rios moved to Austin to pursue his undergraduate studies at St. Edward’s University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr. Rios then attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Following his graduation, he completed his General Surgery training at The Methodist Hospital in Houston.
In 2006, Dr. Rios joined the Texas Surgical Group and is happy to be back in Austin enjoying the live music and great food.
