Faculty Member—Austin Medical Education Programs
Dr. Poreddy started with the SETON Healthcare Network in August of 2004. He specializes in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Poreddy grew up in Hyderabad, India and attended medical school at Osmania Medical College, a premiere medical college in India. He immigrated to the USA and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Jewish Medical Center in NewYork, NY.
In June 2004, Dr. Poreddy completed his fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In his Fellowship he subspecialized in Hepatology, which involves the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C & B, Alcohol Liver Disease, Cirrhosis and its complications.
