Seton Highland Lakes Hospital, Burnet
Karen Litterer joined Seton Highland Lakes in 1991 as Director of Nursing for hospital operations including the Med-Surg, Intensive Care, Operating Room, and Emergency Departments. She also has operational responsibility for Respiratory Therapy, Social Services, Infection Control / Employee Health and is active in accreditation and regulatory activities. In the past, Karen served as interim Director of Seton Highland Lakes Imaging, Home Care and Hospice. She has a MSN from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Nursing and currently serves as an Associate Faculty member in TTU’s ADN to BSN program. She is a member of the Burnet County ISD School Health Advisory Council, Curriculum Committee for the Health and Technology programs for the Burnet Independent School District and as well as a member of the Highland Lakes Health Partnership Board.
