My Passion for Healthcare

I've wanted to be a doctor since I was in second grade. I still have my copy of “Charlie Brown’s ‘Cyclopedia: Featuring Your Body,” which I read over and over until the cover fell off. Recently, I have the joy of reading this book again with my two children, teaching them biology and its effects on our everyday lives. Whether we are approaching a child with warts or an adult with a rash or a skin cancer, every patient has different skincare concerns and goals. As a skin specialist, I enjoy working with patients to find a treatment plan that's right for them.

Services I Provide

  1. Now accepting new patients ages 0-100
  2. Ultraviolet phototherapy (nbUVB)
  3. Second opinions on rare skin conditions
  4. Laser treatments, including Excimer
  5. Skin biopsies and skin cancer surgery
  6. Treatment of eczema, psoriasis and lupus
  7. Allergic skin “patch” testing

My Clinical Focus

I'm passionate about teaching dermatology; I almost always have a student with me in clinic. I enjoy seeing a variety of skin problems in adult and pediatric patients, from acne and warts to autoimmune and infectious skin conditions. I'm currently researching ways of making a diagnosis without needing a biopsy, using skin swabs and light-based imaging systems. I'm also intrigued at the connections between the mind and body. Stress can have a real effect on a person’s skin condition, so I try to understand the patient as a whole person. Treating the skin can affect one’s mood as well.

Why Choose Skin Care with Seton

Seton dermatologists provide comprehensive skin care to address the unique needs of each patient. We can help you and your family achieve healthy, beautiful skin and overcome even the most serious skin conditions.

Our board-certified dermatologists evaluate and treat a wide range of skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, and diseases of the hair and nails. We offer specialized treatment of skin cancer (including Mohs surgery), hair loss, pigment changes, rare skin conditions, and childhood skin diseases.

Our physicians are driving the future of medical care right here in Central Texas by teaching dermatology and performing clinical skin research. They put their knowledge and experience to work for you, treating complicated and rare skin diseases and often partnering with primary doctors to provide full-circle skin care.
