Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas Mosaic – $500 Tile Sponsor (146003): When a Seton associate donates $500 or more to this fund through Seton Cares, recognition will be given on an individual tile within a mosaic art piece at Dell Seton. Donations benefit construction and equipment for the new hospital. If you sponsor a tile, you will receive a recognition request email asking how you would like your name to appear on the mosaic tile you have sponsored. You must respond to that email with your preferred tile naming by Dec. 9, 2016, to appear in the mosaic.

Dell Seton Construction and Equipment (146000): Benefits construction and equipment for Seton’s new teaching hospital.

Caring for the Caregivers Fund (146101): This fund provides support for education, travel, conferences, research, supplies and related expenses for Mary Graves Taylor Outstanding Caregiver Award recipients. Award recipients must work at UMCB or Dell Seton.

Charity Care – Network (113016): Helps pay for health care for people who can’t afford it. Charity Care helps Seton further our mission to care for and improve the health of those we serve, with a special concern for the poor and vulnerable.

Emergency Relief Endowment (402006): Provides the primary source of funding for the Emergency Relief Fund. The Emergency Relief Fund provides emergency financial assistance to patients or Seton associates in financial need. The annual associate giving campaign is the main source of donations to the endowment.

Medical Mission at Home – Hays/South Areas (282112): Donations fund supplies and related costs for the Ascension Texas Medical Mission at Home events hosted by Seton in Hays County and South areas. The Medical Mission at Home delivers free medical care, including health screenings, dental care, vision and hearing services, and foot washing, to those with limited access to health care and who are struggling in the communities we serve.

Medical Mission at Home – Williamson/North Areas (282111): Donations fund supplies and related costs for the Ascension Texas Medical Mission at Home events hosted by Seton in Williamson County and North areas. The Medical Mission at Home delivers free medical care, including health screenings, dental care, vision and hearing services, and foot washing, to those with limited access to health care and who are struggling in the communities we serve.

Nursing Fund for Professional Development, Scholarly Activities and Recognition (113406): The Nursing Fund provides financial support and advocacy for Seton’s nurses who are pursuing professional development and are engaged in scholarly activities. The Nursing Fund can also provide for recognition of Seton’s excellent nurses.

Seton Clinical Professional Education Endowments: These five endowments provide support for education and training for Seton associates in these specialty areas:

  • Cardio-Pulmonary/Neurodiagnostics (412702)
  • Imaging (412701)
  • Laboratory (412704)
  • Rehabilitation Services (412700)
  • The general Seton Clinical Professional Education Endowment (412603) supports these four specialties and Pharmacy.

Seton Cove Special Programs and Projects (193202): Seton Cove offers people of all faiths the opportunity to nourish and foster their journey toward wholeness. Donations to Seton Cove provide support for special programs and projects.

Seton League House Special Projects, Programs & Supplies (181003): Supports special projects of Seton League House, such as renovations, repairs and furnishings. Seton League House provides a comfortable, safe and low-cost place to stay and serves as a home away from home for families of hospitalized patients, as well as patients who have early morning procedures.

Seton Nurse Scholarship Endowment (402114): Provides scholarships to Seton associates to advance or pursue a career in nursing. Since 2006, 316 scholarships have been awarded totaling $881,000.

United Way for Greater Austin: The United Way for Greater Austin is a local nonprofit and community service organization providing resources and volunteer opportunities with local Austin charities.
