Timothy W. Harstad, M.D., completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine followed by a family medicine intership at the University of Illinois Medicl School. He completed his resident training in OB/GYN at St. Mary's Hospital in Milaukee.
Dr. Harstad is the author and co-author of a number of articles and abstracts as well as serving on sxeveral professional committees. Throughout his medical and teaching career, he has received a number of honors and rewards for his contributions.
Central Texas Perinatal Associates is a group practice specializing in Perinatology (Maternal Fetal Medicine), which provides services to patients referred by their primary obstetrician or family doctor. Services include prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, ultrasound, and other fetal testing, as well as consultation and management of pregnancies with maternal or fetal complications. Members of the group include Byron G. Darby, MD, Robert M. Patterson, MD, and Charles E.L. Brown, MD.
We have a close alliance with the Central Texas Genetics Center allowing optimal coordinated management of the patient or family with genetic problems or issues.
