My Passion for Healthcare

I have always enjoyed working with children and decided as a medical student that I wanted to be a surgeon. Pediatric Surgery was a fairly new specialty, and I was inspired by my mentor during my General Surgery residency to pursue a career in children's surgery.

My Clinical Focus

"General" pediatric surgery includes surgery of infants, children and adolescents. The surgery includes neonatal surgery, neck surgery, thoracic surgery (lungs, esophagus and mediastinum, and chest wall deformities,) abdominal surgery, cancer surgery and trauma surgery. I am particularly interested in hernia surgery.
