My Passion for Healthcare

I have always been motivated most by my interactions with other people and being a physician allows me to focus my energy on the needs of others every day. There is something very humbling about caring for people, whether for a preventative visit or during a difficult time in their life. I view health and education as essential and as an academic OB/GYN I am fortunate to work in both areas.

  2. Myomectomy
  3. Oophorectomy
  4. Hysteroscopy, Dilation and Curettage (D&C)

My Clinical Focus

Women’s Health is an exciting and rewarding field and I am a full-scope OB/GYN, which means that I care for women across their lifespan. I have a special interest in certain conditions such as vulvar disease, pelvic pain, menopause and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. I recently became a certified menopause practitioner through the North American Menopause Society. I also have an interest in health care quality and standardization of care with the goal of improving health outcomes for women.
