My Passion for Healthcare

I developed the appreciation for what physicians did at a very young age. My young mind had a notion that when anyone was “sick”, they could just go to the doctor’s office and everything would be fixed. This respect for the comfort physicians can provide led me down the path to pursuing medicine, and I never looked back. My experiences through my time in the medicine have been excellent, and there is truly nothing else I would rather spend my life doing than helping patients.

My Clinical Focus

My practice focus is in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. This includes performing emergent operations for both injuries sustained on various areas of the body and organ systems, as well as various life threatening disease processes not related to trauma. My research interests include identifying ways to improve the care of trauma patients for many different types of injuries and situations. Having completed my residency training in Austin with the Seton Surgical Group and University of Texas Dell Medical School, I am honored to continue to be able to take care of patients in our area.
