Dr. Louis Corne was born and raised in southern Louisiana and moved to Austin in 2011 with his family. He trained at UT Southwestern/Parkland hospital in Dallas, Texas and has experience in general surgery, acute care surgery, trauma surgery, and minimally invasive surgery.

My Passion for Healthcare

I come from a medical family and growing up I was constantly exposed to the world of patient care from the doctors and nurses around me. As I grew older my grandfather exposed me more to general surgery and his love of medicine was a great inspiration to me.

My Clinical Focus

I have been practicing General Surgery, Acute Care Surgery, Trauma Surgery. I primarily address abdominal emergencies that include the appendix, gallbladder, intestinal obstructions, colon issues like diverticulitis, skin and soft tissue infections and hernias. Acute care surgery also included the care of patients who are injured.
