Medical Director – SHL Department of Surgery

My wife and I live in Georgetown, TX. We are members of the Grace Episcopal Church, and my wife is a chaplain for a local hospital. We are very active in our church and do visitations to homebound church members. We have three grandchildren, and take them to the coast to enjoy beach life.

My Passion for Healthcare

My father, grandfather and uncle were all three doctors, so I have been around physicians all my life and knew early on that this is what I would do. I didn’t know exactly what specialty I would be in. My daddy was a urologist before they were a specialty organization. I have been in family practice and Uro/Gynecology, both of which I have really enjoyed. Today, I focus on taking care of women and their health problems.

Services I Provide

  1. General Well Woman Exams
  2. Hysterectomy
  3. Pap Smears
  4. Bladder Suspensions
  5. Testing for Women's Urinary Incontinence
  6. Women's Laparoscopic Surgery
  7. Pelvic Surgery

My Clinical Focus

I am dedicated to women’s health issues. I am interested in issues of pubic organ prolapse and uterine/vaginal prolapse in women. As a specialist of record in our area, I have a good association with local urologists, who seek my opinion in cases for women with prolapse or incontinence problems.
