My Passion for Healthcare

I first became interested in surgery when I was in high school and watched my father operate. That was my first real exposure to hospitals, and I loved the operating room. After medical school and surgery residency training I was able to combine my love of surgery with love of our country when I joined the US Navy. Taking care of others who serve is a true privilege. I now enjoy extending that same level of care to those in our community who need it most at times of acute surgical illness or traumatic injury.
