My Passion for Healthcare

Being a doctor is a unique mix of the understanding of science and biology, the detective work involved in figuring out a diagnosis, and the interaction with people. Every day is different and I've alway found this mix appealing. Working with mentors who were true leaders in Pediatric Pulmonology inspired me to specialize in this field. From treating a premature infant requiring supplemental oxygen to an adult patient with cystic fibrosis, it is a privilege to help patients and their families navigate their healthcare concerns.

My Clinical Focus

A large part of my practice involves asthma. I see many patients with asthma that is difficult to control. I also see referrals for chronic cough, recurrent pneumonia, congenital airway abnormalities and complications of prematurity. I have Board specialization in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. This has provided excellent training for taking care of adult patients with cystic fibrosis. My other interests include participating in residency education and quality of life improvement for people living with cystic fibrosis.
