My Passion for Healthcare

I have always been interested in health and wellness. Throughout my education I was guided towards medicine. While exploring different medical specialties throughout college, I became interested in podiatry. I was intrigued with the complexity of the foot and ankle. Most of us take our feet for granted until they begin to fail us. While shadowing a podiatrist in college, it became evident that people who suffered from lower extremity problems had a tremendous need. It seemed like a good fit for me and has proven to be a challenging and fulfilling profession.

Services I Provide

  1. Orthotics/Bracing
  2. Wound Care
  3. Injection Therapy
  4. Nail Care
  5. Surgical Intervention
  6. Diabetic Foot Care
  7. Pain Management

Degree & Residency

  • Medical School

    Samuel Merritt College, Oakland, CA

  • Residency

    Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC

INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children, Falls Church, VA

  • Board Certification

    American Board of Podiatric Surgery

My Clinical Focus

I enjoy treating all foot and ankle conditions and helping people relieve their pain. Studying the biomechanics of the foot/ankle is essential to getting at the crux of the problem. I enjoy diabetic wound care and infection/amputation prevention. These patients are often overwhelmed with mental, physical and emotional ailments secondary to their condition. Therefore, I try to understand the patient as a "whole" person and take their individual needs into consideration when treating their problems.
