My Passion for Healthcare

I had my first doctors’ kit when I was 3 and never looked back! When my parents prevailed on me to do aptitude testing in high school so that I wasn’t overlooking options, ‘tug boat captain’ ‘police officer’ and ‘medical doctor’ came up. So doctor it was! It is a privilege to be able to care for patients and their families.

My Clinical Focus

My career path is best classified as Clinician-Researcher with the focus on Discovery and Application of Knowledge (Academic Practice) and Advancement of Knowledge (Academic Research). I also have strong interest in Integration of Knowledge (Academic Administration). Team-building has been a critical underpinning to my clinical and academic activities. My principal clinical focus has been on providing world-class care to infants, children and adults born with congenital heart disease in a small-volume high-performance program.
