Sonia has lived throughout Texas. The last two years she has lived in Austin with her husband and two children. In her downtime she loves spending time with her family and traveling. She has worked with all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

My Passion for Healthcare

I went into healthcare after taking my first anatomy and physiology class. I fell in love with the science part of the human body. As I started my journey in healthcare, I became fulfilled with personal satisfaction taking care of families in my community. I love building relationships with our patients and guiding them through their healthcare needs. I am grateful to be part of a profession that allows me to care for the people around me and that challenges me daily with learning opportunities.

My Clinical Focus

As a primary care provider, I enjoying taking care of all ages. I have a passion for educating patients on disease prevention and screening, so that my patients play an active and collaborative role in their health decisions. I also enjoy taking care of chronic illness such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
