My Passion for Healthcare

When I was younger, my grandparents had cardiovascular disease and I was very interested in biology and what was going on with them. I usually saw the nurses that would come to visit and check on my grandfather at times. They were caring and took an interest in him. I started working as an RN in Cardiology, which includes ICU/cath lab/cardiology clinic/coumadin and stress testing. As an APRN, I've been in Family Practice, then in Men's Health with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), which helps to further the positive feeling of well-being. Health education is a primary need for patients.

My Clinical Focus

Family practice is very important, but my focus remains with cardiovascular issues as well as treatment of hypertension, hyperlipidemia and men's health, which includes TRT. I believe in men's issues, and that care should be individualized, including testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that goes beyond pills and supplements. The process can raise energy levels and restore the satisfaction of sex and intimacy. I believe in promoting optimal health, using preventive measures; education, counseling, screening and management strategies. A relationship where care is centered on the patient.
