We are pleased to offer classes led by “best-in-class surgeons.” Earlier this year, Colorectal surgeons from across our hospitals were invited to attend a specialty-specific summit in California.  Here they discussed the importance of collecting procedural data as well as goals for standardizing complex procedures. This training also extends to our valued surgical services staff members.  Our surgical teams lead the charge in reducing waste and helping to achieve operational standardization and quality.  In April, we hosted our first robotic surgery Coordinator Course.  Twenty-seven nurses, surgical techs, and surgical services leaders participated in a day-long training on operating room efficiency, robotic best practices, and OR standardization.
