Stroke Institute

Research

Our research division continues to publish peer-reviewed research in the highest impact journals, while leading and participating in the ground-breaking, practice changing clinical trials in stroke treatment, prevention and complications.

In 2015, the Stroke Institute was selected to join the prestigious StrokeNet clinical trial network, funded by the National Institute of Neurologic Disorders and Stroke. Our selection assures that we will be offered participation in all of the NIH clinical trials for improving prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of stroke.

Additionally, through renewal of funding from the State Legislature, Seton Healthcare continues to implement a regional research network as part of the state-wide Lone Star Stroke Research Consortium Regional Hub.
