  • Have you made any publications or oral disclosures about your invention? (e.g., abstracts, journal publications, seminar presentations, blogs, etc.)
  • Provide a written description of your invention, its use and purpose. For a novel method or process, you may include your research protocol and any supporting data.

    Some questions to help:

    You may wish to detail particular features of the invention that are unusual and how they differ from current or similar technology.

    Additionally, what advantages do these features have over other technologies?

    Are there disadvantages or limitations to your invention that can be overcome? How?

    Are there other uses of your invention that might be realized in the future?

  • If available, please attach a drawing of your invention. You may draw the invention from various perspectives or environments in which it is intended to be used.

    Early drafts of journal papers intended for publication or protocols are also helpful.
