Innovation Challenge at Dell Children’s

innovation-challenge

The Innovation Challenge at Dell Children’s is a competition and workshop series for associates at Dell Children’s Medical Center. It is organized by the Innovation & Technology team with expert corporate innovation challenge producers at Verb. The Verb team produces employee innovation competitions worldwide. This is the first competition of its kind in Austin! The precedent-setting competition is intended to catalyze innovation at Seton by engaging associates to identify promising innovative ideas that solve some of the hospital’s most pressing problems.

Using a custom Innovation Challenge at Dell Children’s online platform, associates submitted ideas and accessed intrapreneurship learning materials to supplement in-person workshops. Senior leaders at Seton and from around the community were selected to mentor finalists who will pitch their innovations for final judging this summer. The winning team will be awarded cash prizes up to $5,000 and best of all, Dell Children’s leaders will implement the chosen solution.
