The Grant Acquisition Office (GAO) serves to align, strengthen collaboration and better coordinate stages of the grant and sponsored project development cycle within Seton, with the intention to grow externally-sponsored research and activities consistent with Seton’s mission, to care for and improve the health of those we serve, with a special concern for the poor and vulnerable.

In order to align funded projects with Seton Network priorities, all applications seeking external funding for research projects and non-research initiatives, must be facilitated by GAO.

We Facilitate Funding

At Seton Hospitals and Dell Children’s Medical Center, our Humancare doctors aren’t just writing prescriptions. They are researching innovative treatments and creating programs that will help them care for, and keep in touch with patients inside the hospital, and outside in the community. Seton researchers receive funding for their projects from federal and state programs, private foundations, and from people in the community just like you!
