My Passion for Healthcare

My lifelong goal was to be a veterinarian, but volunteering in the hospital quickly changed that! After college, I began working as a nurse in the cardiac care unit at University Medical Center Brackenridge and then at Heart Hospital of Austin. I knew I ultimately wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner and went back to the University of Texas School of Nursing to make this a reality. I have never stopped loving to learn about the intricacies of the heart and very much enjoy working alongside our electrophysiologists as a team to find the best individualized treatment plan for our patients.
