My Passion for Healthcare

I started my career in Nursing in India after obtaining my Bachelor of Science, Nursing in 1999. I moved to the United States in 2001 and obtained my RN license. I practiced in a variety of quality hospital settings as a Registered Nurse. I attended the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing while employed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Medical ICU. I graduated in August 2008 as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specialized in cardiac care. I am a Cardiac Care Associate of the American College of Cardiology.

My Clinical Focus

As a Cardiac Provider, I diagnose and manage a wide variety of acute, chronic and complex cardiovascular conditions and collaborate regularly with general and interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists and vascular specialists. My special interest areas include cardiac health promotion, heart failure management and rhythm disorders.
