Christopher McCoy, MD

Dr. McCoy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He received his medical degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and then went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to joining Seton Heart Institute, Dr. McCoy served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University from 2010 to 2013, and was actively involved in research and in the education of medical students, residents and cardiology fellows.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. McCoy provides therapeutic interventional procedures such as coronary PTCA and coronary stents, and is able to perform the majority of his procedures using the transradial approach. He also provides acute cardiac care, as well as general consultative and diagnostic services.
In his free time, Dr. McCoy enjoys exercising, sports, and spending time with his wife and two young sons.
