The ABC's of Prepared Childbirth and newborn care is a 10 hour course that prepares couples for the childbirth and newborn care experience.
The outline includes: Anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, labor terms, stages and phases of labor, when to go and what to bring to the hospital, breathing, relaxation, comfort measures, pain relief options, interventions, procedures, medical support, what to expect in the hospital and options in childbirth, including information on inductions, cesarean birth, postpartum and newborn care basics for the first 4 to 6 weeks of life.

Offered exclusively at Seton Medical Center Williamson, this is a 1 hour safety course that teaches basic infant CPR; how to help a choking infant; how to assess the situation and call for help. This Family and Friends CPR course follows the American Heart Association guidelines.
NOTE: One reservation holds a place for 2 people.
Injury Prevention Lunch and Learn

Ascension Seton Williamson Trauma Services will discuss the most common home accidents and injuries and how to prevent them. Lunch is provided.
Spine Health Lunch and Learn
Join Dr. Ryan Bergeson, orthopedic surgeon with Ascension Medical Group, and Dr. Eric Mayer, orthopedic surgeon with Seton Spine and Scoliosis, for this informative lunch hour discussing spine health and when to see a physician for treatment. They will discuss common causes of discomfort, how pain may present, what to expect at an exam an give an overview of possible treatments.
Lunch is provided.
