My Passion for Healthcare

I had a special interest in fitness and health at a young age so a career in healthcare was a logical choice. What attracted me to chiropractic and/or therapy was the natural component. I enjoy teaching patients how to care for themselves. I enjoy working with patients to find a self-care treatment plan that works right for them. This includes education on posture and daily activities and an active-based exercise program including stretching and strength training.

Services I Provide

  1. McKenzie Method
  2. Manual Therapy
  3. Education
  4. Myofascial Therapy
  5. Rehabilitation
  6. Cervical Traction
  7. Manipulation

My Clinical Focus

I am passionate about teaching self-care to patients with spine pain. I enjoy seeing a variety of spine problems, from simple sprain/strains to disc herniations. I am a McKenzie certified provider with extensive post-graduate training in active-based treatment. While passive treatment such as manipulation and manual therapy have a role early in care these interventions reach a point of diminishing return. Therefore, I heavily emphasize an active-based exercise strategy. After all, there is strong evidence that exercise reduces disability and the key to success is physical activity.
