My Passion for Healthcare

When my father became ill in his early 40’s, I began to see medicine as a possible career path. Through him, I became a health care consumer and as a result became determined to uphold certain values. These include: demonstrating compassion for patients, recognizing that I can learn something from each person/situation I encounter, and reminding myself as often as possible to have an attitude of gratitude. I feel that it is a privilege to care for patients and an honor to assist them in achieving the best possible outcomes

My Clinical Focus

The first five years of my clinical practice in neurology were focused primarily on the treatment of headaches and peripheral nerve conditions. Over the last five years, however, I have expanded my scope of practice to include the evaluation and treatment of a broad range of neurological conditions. My goals in joining Seton include working closely with their experienced teams of providers, expanding my practice to include neurohospitalist care and increasing my direct link to clinical research opportunities and results in an effort to improve patient outcomes.
