My Passion for Healthcare

Since I was a child, I have wanted to help people with illnesses. I think it is especially hard to have an illness that society sometimes doesn't understand. Mental health conditions are a challenge for the people who experience them, and I appreciate working with them as they recover.

My Clinical Focus

I have worked in many different settings, but my favorite is inpatient psychiatry. When someone comes to the hospital, they are in crisis. The challenge of getting to know them and how to help best is very fulfilling to me. The relationships I forge with my patients I meet and take care of during this time is very special. My role at Shoal Creek also allows me to teach healthcare providers from different disciplines and work in an administrative role at Seton to provide the best possible care.
