Anne Michel, MSN, RN, CPHQ, was named Senior Nursing Director at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas in January 2015. She started her career at Seton in 2000 as a registered nurse in Seton Medical Center Austin’s Telemetry Unit, then worked in the Nursing Practice and Accreditation department from 2003 through 2007 as a project coordinator.
In 2007, she transitioned into a new role as a patient safety project management consultant in the Seton’s Clinical Quality and Patient Safety department. In 2011, Anne began her work with pediatrics as Dell Children’s director of process improvement and accreditation. Before assuming her current role, she was a director of nursing at Dell Children’s with responsibilities that included the Magnet designation process, nursing practice oversight, leadership of the house supervisors and oversight of nursing education.
Anne graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and later a Master of Science in Nursing.
