Our mission inspires us to care for and improve the health of those we serve with a special concern for the poor and the vulnerable. We are called to be a sign of God’s unconditional love for all and believe that all persons by their creation are endowed with dignity. Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac and Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Local Care, National Resources

Our mission goes hand-in-hand with that of Ascension, our parent organization. Learn more about the Veterans Choice program and Ascension Medical Mission at Home, just two examples of the many ways that, through Ascension, Seton is helping to improve the health of communities we serve.

We are called to:

Affirming the hope and joy of our ministry

Respect and compassion for the dignity and diversity of life

Integrating excellence and stewardship

Inspiring trust through personal leadership

Service to the Poor

Generosity of spirit, especially for the persons most in need

Courageous innovation

We serve each person as a Christian would serve Christ Himself. As a caring community, we respect the dignity and needs of one another.
