Steps to Apply

Welcome! Seton's RN Residency is dedicated to providing an evidence-based clinical, professional and personal support system that helps new nurses transition from a RN student to a confident nursing professional on our team.

To apply to the Seton RN Residency, you must complete and submit your application and supporting documents and references online. You will be provided a Dashboard and Checklist to guide you through the process. Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the RN Residency Office and forwarded to the Human Resources Office. You will be contacted by the Recruiter for the RN Residency who will provide information on the next steps in the application process.

Getting Started - The Steps to Completing Your Application

  1. Review the Eligibility Requirements for a Graduate Nurse (GN) or a Registered Nurse (RN). You will find information about the GN permit, Texas Board of Nursing web links and experience requirements for the RN.
  2. Review the FAQ pages.
  3. To begin the application process, click Start My Application below to register by providing your email address and a password. This will create a user account that will allow you to monitor the information that you enter and upload as well as when your references are submitted.
  4. Once you have your account set up, you can log in at your convenience to complete your online RN Residency application, upload the required documents, request Faculty/Professional references. Your Dashboard will guide you through these steps.
  5. When all required application items are complete: 1) online application, 2) required documentation and 3) required number of references, submit your application to the RN Residency Office.
*Please note that all applications and supporting materials, including references, must be submitted through this online process. We will not accept applications or any supporting materials via US mail, fax, email or hand delivery.
