Crochet, Knit or Sew Handmade Items for Infant Patients

Come join our Care Wear group as we knit, crochet and sew handmade baby items at home to be donated to University Medical Center Brackenridge.  There is a desperate need at this time for blankets; positioning logs; and, wraps, diaper shirts, hats, booties and mittens in all baby sizes, from very premature to extra large full term.  Volunteers will need to attend a mandatory orientation where they will receive patterns, and information regarding this volunteer opportunity.  Volunteers will need to provide their own yarn, needles and materials.
