Having a baby in the NICU can be frightening. Parents often feel helpless. And although nurses and doctors may be caring for your baby around the clock, you may be frustrated by not being able to help. Fear, helplessness and frustration are stressful and exhausting. If you want to help your newborn baby, you have to take care of yourself. Our staff wants to help you.

Your case manager can put you in touch with supportive organizations in your community. In addition, there are many other people who understand how it feels to have a newborn in the NICU. Just talking to other parents who have been or are currently in the same situation can make you feel better.
