Gina joined the Seton Family of Hospitals in 2002 to develop the CPE program and lead it to accreditation as an ACPE center. She is an ordained American Baptist minister with over 25 years of ministry experience. Prior to coming to Seton, Gina provided leadership for CPE at Scott and White Memorial Hospital.

Rev. Cynthia “Cyd” Thomas

Rev. Cynthia “Cyd” Thomas is a CPE Supervisor (clinical teaching faculty). Her responsibilities include the supervision of CPE students in residency, intern, and extern programs. Cyd graduated from Rollins College in Florida (BA, Philosophy and Religion) in 1972, and received a Master of Arts in Intercultural Education from the University of the Americas in Mexico in 1974.

Rev. Ken Ramsey

Ken joined the Seton CPE program as a supervisor in August of 2009 after serving in a similar capacity in Houston. A native of the Texas Panhandle, Ken is an ordained minister who graduated (M.Div./J.D.) from the Law and Religion Program at Emory University. He has several years of experience in social justice and pastoral care ministries. In addition to his family and his ministry, Ken enjoys movies, sports, and acting in community theater.



Stephanie Quinn

Stephanie joined the SETON CPE Department in August 2006 and handles most of the administrative duties for the department. Stephanie graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Applied Arts & Sciences from Texas State University in May 2009. Stephanie came to SETON after seven years with Texas Nurses Association where she handled all administrative responsibilities for the Membership and Governmental Affairs Departments.

Rev. Ron Lovelace

Ron is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church USA. He is a graduate of King College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and earned both a Masters of Theology and a Doctorate of Ministry from the Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. Ron spent ten years as parish minister prior to his training as a Chaplain and CPE Supervisor at the University of Virginia. Since 1991, he has served as a CPE Supervisor in various setting including Emory University, Methodist Healthcare in Memphis, TN and the VA Medical System. Ron’s areas of interest are pastoral leadership, innovation and change, and the spirituality of systems.



Rev. Cam Holzer

Cam grew up in both southern California and southern Mississippi (“Calissippi”). Cam earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville 1989 and a Doctorate of Ministry at Lexington Seminary (Disciples of Christ) in 1997. Cam completed CPE Residencies at Spartanburg Medical Center, SC and University of Kentucky Medical Center, 1989-92. Cam has worked as a domestic violence counselor and educator, college campus minister, counselor and director of various group homes for persons with developmental disabilities and Director of Spiritual Formation for Holy Cross Episcopal Church in SC (1997-2003). Cam came to Seton as an ACPE Supervisory Candidate in May 2008 after serving as Chaplain and Pastoral Care Director at Touro Infirmary, New Orleans, 2003-2008. Cam is endorsed by the Alliance of Baptists. Cam enjoys really like longs walks in pretty places, going to the beach, catching up with old friends, and listening to music such as Sade, James Taylor and Bon Jovi.
