University Medical Center Brackenridge is the home to the Brain & Spine Center. Because the brain and spinal cord are the most sensitive areas of the body, our team of specialists uses the most sophisticated technology, treatments and surgical techniques to provide the highest level of care possible to patients. Our goal is to improve a patient’s condition and quality of life with the most advanced, least invasive treatment available.

The Brain & Spine Center offers a variety of programs to help patients who suffer from strokes, tumors, aneurysms, head injuries, seizures and lower back problems. The Center offers patients access to high quality care, including two state-of-the-art operating suites, a new imaging center with neuro-interventional radiology capability, a neuro-intensive care unit, a neuro-floor and access to rehabilitation services.
