Welcome to the website of the UT Southwestern Austin General Surgery Residency Program. Thank you for your interest to learn more about our residency program. Our five year, categorical general surgery interns began July 2009. We have three categorical positions offered through the National Residency Matching Program. Our program is based primarily at University Medical Center Brackenridge Hospital and includes rotations at the Seton Medical Center and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.
