Interview season is October - December

Residency program information may also be found on the web at www.ameppsych.net.

For information regarding becoming a physician in training in the State of Texas, please visit the Texas Medical Board website: http://www.tmb.state.tx.us. IMGs/FMGs: please take note of the list of Schools Whose Graduates Do Not Have to Prove Substantial Equivalence of Their Education (located under Physician Applicants). If your medical school is not listed, you will not be invited for an interview and may find it difficult to obtain a training permit in Texas. The list is subject to change at any time.

Once your application is received via ERAS, it will go through a screening process. If you are chosen for an interview, you will be contacted by phone and email. Please do not call to inquire about the status of your application during this time.

We do not have minimum score requirements for USMLE at this time, nor do we have a graduation cutoff date. We look at your application as a whole. US experience is not required.

Again, thank you for your interest in The UT Southwestern Psychiatry Residency Program at Seton Family of Hospitals.
