Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program Child and Adolescent Call

Below are the child resident call duties for the 2010-2011 Academic Year.

Child one's and two's cover weekend C&L call at Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT) and weekend adolescent (15 yo+) trauma psychiatry consults at University Medical Center Brackenridge (UMCB). Resident call for DCMCCT is defined as pager call where residents see consults and may need to round on a critical patient(s) already on the consult service.

Note the child resident assigned to the consult service covers weekday consults 8 AM-5 PM and holidays that fall Monday-Friday. The attending C&A psychiatrist covers pager call Monday-Thursday 5 PM-8 AM.

Child residents take one weekday back up call a month at Seton Shoal Creek Hospital.
