On June 20th, 2006, the Austin Pediatric Education Program, a fully-accredited pediatric residency, joined the growing number of University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Austin residency programs. On June 30th, 2007, the program made another exciting transition to our new facility, Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, a member of the Seton Family of Hospitals. Dell Children’s is the only hospital in Central Texas dedicated to the care of children and serves as a regional care center for a 46-county service area.
