Thank you for your interest in the University of Texas Southwestern Austin Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. Our program is a relatively new program, recently approved by the ACGME and our first interns started in 2005.
Our program, which is based primarily at University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin Texas, has a long history of residency education, but having a complete program here in Austin is a new development in our history.
Although we are a UT Southwestern sponsored program, we offer a unique mix of both university and community programs. In addition, we offer the opportunity to complete a Masters degree in Public Health or Public Policy during the four years of residency training.
Should you have any questions that are not addressed on this web page, please feel free to call or e-mail me. Joy Kimmell, our Program Coordinator, is also available to help you.
Thank you again for your interest in our program.
