The University of Texas Southwestern Austin Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program is full-time and includes four sub-specialties: Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

UT Southwestern Austin received its provisional accreditation in February of 2004, and began operation in July 2005. In October 2007, our program received full accreditation, which was renewed in January 2010. We are currently recruiting applicants who will participate in the NRMP in March of 2011.

We are located in Austin, the state capital of Texas. The program is based at the University Medical Center Brackenridge, and includes rotations at the UTMB Austin Women’s Hospital, Seton Medical Center, Seton Northwest Medical Center, as well as sub-specialty and surgical experiences at the St. David's Healthcare Partnership Hospital in the Austin metropolitan area.
