The Austin Medical Education Programs Obstetrics fellowship is intended for practitioners who have finished a family practice residency and who desire additional, more complex training in Obstetrics.

Fellows are encouraged to participate in resident education, conferences and scientific presentations. Duties will also include taking in-hospital night and weekend calls on a rotating basis.

This training enables the physician to better meet the needs of the small or medium size community that may not have access to obstetric specialty physicians.
