The graduate medical education programs in Austin are affiliated with UT Southwestern. However, the UTMB Office of Regional Medical Education (ORME) provides orientation and support to all students in Austin, including visiting students. Students who wish to complete an elective in Austin must submit an application to UTMB. Once your paperwork is cleared in Galveston, it will be forwarded to Adriane Thompson (acthompson@seton.org) in the ORME for placement in an Austin elective.
