Application Requirements
All positions are offered through the NRMP Match; all applications must be submitted through ERAS. We do not offer any pre-match positions. Last year we offered 14 Categorical & 6 Preliminary positions (subject to change).
The tentative application deadline is 12/31/09.
- U.S. medical training, such as externships/observerships, is a plus but not mandatory. Because we are an LCME approved medical school, we cannot accommodate or offer externships/observerships to foreign medical students because of state rules.
- Long periods out of training or medical career, especially greater than 5 years, are problematic. Special consideration is given to applicants with PhD’s.
- You must have scored 80 or above on your first attempt in USMLE Steps I and II and CSA in order for your application to be reviewed.
International Medical Graduates
- We prefer US Citizenship, Permanent Resident status or an EAD certification (visa sponsorship are considered on a case by case scenario, depending on the strength of the application & credentials).
- ECFMG certification is required by rank day.
We look forward to receiving your application!
