Seton Healthcare Family is excited to announce a conference on evidence based strategies and algorithms for the most effective treatment of diabetes.

Friday, March 23, 2012 (6:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.)
This evening conference is designed especially for pediatric and school nurses. Topics include achieving optimal control for children with Type 1 diabetes and managing diabetes in schools.

Saturday, March 24, 2012 (7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
This half-day conference is designed to greatly enhance the knowledge and skills for Type 2 diabetes for the entire diabetes clinical team especially physicians, midlevel providers, and nurses.

Continuing Education for multiple disciplines will be offered for this event, including 1 hour of Ethics credit.
Friday CE Hours: 2.25
Saturday CE Hours: 5.5 (includes 1 hour of Ethics)
Total hours, if attending Friday and Saturday: 7.75

  • Carb Counting 101
  • Diabetic Emergencies
  • Engaging Clients as Partners
  • Gestational Diabetes
  • Insulin and Medication Management
