Clinical breast exams, breast self-exam and mammography are the best fight against breast cancer for ALL women. Early detection is the key! It is important for women to learn how to examine their own breasts monthly since most lumps are found by women themselves.

  • Most women don’t know that one in eight women will get breast cancer in their lifetime.
  • All women should have their first mammogram by age 40.
  • Mammograms should be done on every woman, over the age of 40, each year.
  • Many women just forget or don’t take the time.
  • Often women put it off because they are afraid.
