The Shivers Cancer Center is the only hospital-based outpatient hematology/oncology clinic and infusion center in Central Texas and uses a highly specialized team approach in treating all aspects of the disease. Nine Cancer conferences are held regularly wherein doctors review cases with one another to share the most current knowledge and information and gain important insights into cancer treatment. Not only are we are dedicated to treating our patients effectively and compassionately, we are also dedicated to eradicating this disease in the shortest possible time. The National Cancer Institute selected Seton as one of it’s 16 sites to participate in the National Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP). This 4-year pilot program is designed to expand cancer research and bring the most advanced treatment to the community
